Maryborough is a city located on the Mary River in South East Queensland approximately 255 kilometres north of Brisbane. The Mary River has such a wide mouth that at one stage Maryborough was nominated as possible capital city before Brisbane.
The city is serviced by the Bruce Highway, and has a population of approximately 30,000. It shares a unique bond with it's neighbour city Hervey Bay which is approximately 30 kilometres north-east. Together they form part of the area known as the Fraser Coast, one of the country's fastest-growing regions.

The Fraser Coast region is a diverse area from Tinnanbar in the South, to Burrum heads in the North and west almost to Biggenden. Maryborough is right in the middle of the region and has all the benefits, employment, great schools, endless sporting facilities, wonderfully kept parks and gardens, a CBD rich with history, museums, shopping centers and much much more.
